Hostway Announces New Version of SiteControl. SiteControl 3.0, Hostway’s proprietary control panel is more powerful and user-friendly

Chicago—August 7, 2002—Hostway Corporation, a Chicago-based provider of Web hosting services and online business tools for small- to medium-sized enterprises, announces SiteControl 3.0. This new version of Hostway’s proprietary control panel allows Hostway customers to manage all aspects of their Web site anytime and anywhere via the Internet.

SiteControl 3.0 is more powerful, allows for more intuitive navigation and empowers Hostway’s customers to manage their Web-based businesses. Features include:

  • Domain Name Registration Manager— register, check and renew domain names
  • SiteStudio— build and manage Web sites and online stores
  • Centralized E-mail Manager— check email (using a Web-based email client), manage email users and addresses and set-up email forwarding
  • Usage Monitor— track disk, file, traffic and other usage in real time
  • Account Manager— check billing records or order new hosting accounts and features
  • Customer Service— check online manual and FAQ and submit trouble tickets

Hostway rebuilt SiteControl 3.0 from the ground up. The new system architecture has been redesigned for faster, more stable use. Additionally, SiteControl 3.0 is now hosted on massively clustered servers to ensure better performance and higher availability.
